How to reach Cologne Zoo.

CURRENT SPECIAL REGULATIONS DUE TO "CORONA

2G:
The 2G rule will apply at Cologne Zoo from next Monday, 22.11. 2021. This means that entry is possible for vaccinated and convalescent persons.

Exceptions apply:
  • for children up to 6 years of age there is access without vaccination and testing.
  • for school-age children/adolescents from 6 to 18 years of age, access is based on the "general school tests" (except for the period of school vacations in NRW from 24.12.21 to 08.01.22) or a daily (max. 24 hours) antigen or PCR test.
  • for persons who cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons. A medical certificate is required for this. These persons must then present a test - either antigen test (not older than 24h) or PCR test (not older than 48h).

In addition, by order of the authorities, the known distance and hygiene regulations as well as other special rules continue to apply at the Cologne Zoo. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and wish you a pleasant visit to the zoo! 


Mask/Test:
There is no obligation to wear a mask.

Indoors, there is a requirement to wear a medical mask (children under 7 are exempt).


The animal houses are open. Masks are compulsory in the houses


Other offers and services:
The playgrounds are open. The general distance regulations for caregivers apply here.

The zoo gastronomy offers its almost complete range.

Both ZooShops are open (masks required).

Commented feedings unfortunately have to be cancelled at the moment.

WHETHER "CULINARY" CHARADES ON THE BABOON ROCK OR PREDATORY HUNTING BY PIRANHAS AND MEERKATS FOR THE BEST TREATS – WATCHING THE ANIMALS DURING FEEDING IS GREAT FUN!

PLEASE NOTE: FEEDINGS MAY BE POSTPONED OR CANCELLED. PLEASE LOOK OUT FOR NOTICES AT THE RESPECTIVE ENCLOSURE. THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING.
