CURRENT SPECIAL REGULATIONS DUE TO "CORONA

In the Cologne Zoo, the known distance and hygiene regulations as well as other special rules currently apply by official order. We apologize for the resulting circumstances for you and wish you a pleasant visit to the zoo!

Mask:

There is no mask obligation on the outdoor area (only in the admission area, at the ticket offices, in queues).

In indoor areas, there is an obligation to wear a medical mask (children under 7 years are exempt).

Almost all animal houses are open with visitor cap. Masks are mandatory in the houses. The aquarium must remain closed for the time being due to the too low number of possible visitors (according to the protection order).

The side entrance is open. Here there is a mask obligation when entering and leaving and also here a reservation must be shown in addition to the valid day admission ticket.

Online reservation:

Important: Visitors with a day ticket currently require, in addition to a valid admission ticket (voucher or day ticket), a free "reservation ticket" purchased in advance for the corresponding visit day. This is initially still necessary to better control visitor flows in the interest of all and to avoid queues at the ticket offices.

Year ticket holders no longer need this online reservation as of now.

We sincerely ask: Please order only as many online reservation tickets as you need. Take your reservation. You take the zoo otherwise revenue and other interested parties the chance to visit. For info, see our FAQ on opening.

The online reservation tool can be found at www.koelnerzoo.de/reservierung-en. A limited number of reservations are available for schools and daycare centers.

As an exceptional service, we offer a reservation option by phone exclusively for those people who do not have the technical capabilities to make an online reservation. To do so, please contact the Visitor Service at +49221 /77 85 100. Your reservation will then be deposited at the Visitor Service at the main entrance and you can pick it up there on the day of your visit.

Other offers and services:

The playgrounds are open. Here, the general distance rules for caregivers apply.

The zoo catering offers its almost full range.

Both ZooShops are open (mask requirement).

Commented feedings unfortunately have to be cancelled at this time.
